Yahoo Mail is a free web-based mail service. It gives users a range of applications, from mail forwarding to spam protection. However, despite the spam controls, users may still receive unwanted emails from known or unknown addresses. Yahoo Mail allows users to block emails from a specific email address.

- Yahoo Mail or Yahoo Mail Classic account
Navigate to the Yahoo Mail homepage and log in to your account. Type your username and password into the specified boxes to log in.
Click on the "cog" icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Select "Mail Options" from the resulting drop-down menu.
Select "Blocked Addresses" from the options on the following page. It is listed in the left-hand pane of the screen.
Type the email address you wish to block into the "Add an address" text box. Click the "+" button to the right-hand side of the text box. Emails from the address will now be blocked.
Go to the Yahoo Mail Classic homepage and enter your username and password to log in to your account.
Click on "Options" in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Choose "Mail Options" from the drop-down menu.
Select "Spam" from the next page. It will be listed on the left-hand side of the screen.
Type th email address you want to block into the "Add a blocked address" text box. Click the "Add" button beside the text box. You will no longer receive emails from that address.
