Whether it’s in a dip, a sauce, a sandwich, or a salad dressing, honey mustard is pretty much good on everything. While a simple honey mustard sauce calls for just mustard and honey, now you can creatively master dozens of versions to create the perfect recipe of tangy, sweet and salty sauces.

Almost anything is edible with a dab of French mustard on it.

Honey mustard dipping sauce

Great for chicken nuggets, fried chicken and French fries, making a honey mustard dipping sauce only takes a few minutes, but gives that extra special zing to your favourite fast foods. Mix together the mayonnaise, yellow mustard, Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice and a dash of Worcestershire sauce in a bowl and whisk until smooth.

Honey mustard salad dressing

Jazz up a dull lettuce, tomato and avocado salad with a flavourful honey mustard vinaigrette. Whisk together honey, Dijon mustard and rice wine vinegar. Then, slowly add vegetable oil and whisk until the mixture is emulsified. Add salt and pepper to taste and dress the salad right before serving.

Honey mustard spread

Great on turkey or grilled chicken sandwiches, mix together brown deli style mustard, mayonnaise and honey to form a thick spread. Cool in the refrigerator for about 45 minutes before use. This sauce will last a few weeks, but make sure to store in a sealable container for ultimate freshness.
