Dim Display

Push the "Functions" button on the remote control, scroll to "To Others," push "Enter," scroll to "Setup," push "Enter," scroll to "Display" and push "Enter." A list of options will appear. Scroll down to "FL Display" and switch the brightness from "Dim" to "Bright."

4:3 Picture Expansion

If a 4:3 picture is expanding to both the right and the left, push the "Display" button on the remote control as a beginning to fix it. Use the navigation buttons to highlight "Picture," push the right button, scroll to highlight "Progressive," push the right button and adjust the setting to "Off."

After-Image

If the TV is demonstrating an after-image on the screen, that is the ghost of an image remains on the screen momentarily, push the "Display" button. Use the navigation buttons to highlight "Picture," push the right button, scroll to highlight "Playback NR" and adjust it to to "Off."
