Air Filter

One of the easiest ways to gain a few more horsepower while improving air flow to your engine is by upgrading the factory air filter to an aftermarket brand. Factory air filters are meant to be replaced every year, but several aftermarket competitors offer wire-mesh, aluminium-designed filters, which are built to last as long as your engine. Replacing the air filter does not in itself void a warranty, but any damage caused by an aftermarket filter will void it.

Spark Plugs and Wires

Removing old spark plugs and wires that appear damaged or worn will significantly increase the way the M44 starts and stays running. Maintaining spark plugs and wire servicing is cheap and effective, therefore cleaning and trying to repair is not needed. Choose factory-specified spark plugs and wires for accurate fitting and operation.

Oil and Oil Filter

Draining the engine oil and changing the oil filter of the M44 engine twice a year keeps clean oil burning consistently throughout the vehicle's life. Oil life and volume can be checked regularly by removing oil dipstick. Oil and filter change can be performed at home and only takes a few minutes to complete.
