BHO stands for browser helper object. The HP Smart BHO Class functions as a supplement to the Internet Explorer browser, providing a service -- specialised printing -- that is not offered directly through the browser.

Set-up

After HP Smart BHO Class is installed, open Internet Explorer and click on "Tools." Go to "Manage Add-ons" and choose "Enable or Disable Add-ons." Check to see that both "Show or Hide HP Smart Web Printing" and "HP Smart BHO Class" are enabled.

The HP Smart BHO Class is compatible with Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. It can be used with Internet Explorer 6, 7 and 8. It is not compatible with some versions of the Yahoo toolbar.
