Online clinical research associate training

Updated April 17, 2017

There are many ways to train as a clinical research associate. Many universities and training institutes offer classroom courses. Online courses are a viable option when considering a career as a clinical research associate.

Professional Organizations

Professional organisations such as association of clinical research professionals (ACRPs) offer online certification and education courses. ACRP also provide Webinars, seminars online, for further education and interactive learning.

Medical training institutes provide e-learning courses, often divided into various modules. The benefit of offering courses by module for the student is the ability to concentrate on one discipline at a time and progress at desired pace. It also helps spread the cost of learning, by paying for it one module at a time.

Online learning courses enable students to participate in their chosen course, even if it is not available in their immediate geographical area. Many students welcome the opportunity to set their own schedules and study at their own pace. Online learning can also be cost effective, as there is no need to commute to classes.
