Sansa MP3 players are not compatible with an iPod dock. Apple uses a specific connection method that only supports other iPod devices.

An iPod dock provides a place to charge the iPod while it is not in use. The iPod Dock uses a 30-pin connector that is not compatible with a micro-USB port. The Sansa Fuze MP3 player features a micro-USB port to connect the device to your computer.

The Sansa MP3 player cannot be connected with devices that are designed for the iPod connection method, such as an iPod dock. Connecting devices with docks and cables that are not supported by the device could cause irreparable damage to the device.

The micro-USB interface is more than capable of transferring MP3 files to your device from your computer. An expandable microSD card slot is included on the player for added storage capabilities.
