XSD files are Extensible Markup Language (XML) schemas used to help define XML documents. You can convert XSD to XML with XML editors like Altova XMLSpy, Editix Lite and XML Copy Editor (see References). Simply open the XSD file with one of the editors and save it again as an XML.
Altova XMLSpy is a leading XML editor. It supports a variety of XML file extensions, and offers debugging, a code generator, file converters and also has graphical and text-based XML editing. XMLSpy is a commercial program, but does offer a 30-day trial download.
Editix is Java-based program for the creation and development of XML-based documents. You can buy Editix or download a free version. The free version will convert an XSD to an XML file.

XML Copy Editor is a free XML editor that can convert an XSD file to an XML. It's a reliable and quick XML editor. It only lacks some of the superfluous features, such as graphical XML editing.
