Asiana Airlines is a South Korean carrier flying to international destinations throughout Asia with connections to Russia, Europe, Oceania and the United States. Domestically, they fly to 12 cities in South Korea.

Passengers may take one carry-on weighing up to 9.98 Kilogram, along with one personal items such as a briefcase, purse, jacket, small instrument or walking stick. Baby food, medications and dry ice are permitted in small quantities. All cabin baggage must be stowed in overhead racks above, or underneath the seats.

Checked Luggage

Two checked bags, each weighing 22.7 Kilogram or less, are permitted on trans-Pacific flights. Routes within Asia and Europe limit the weight to 20 Kilogram for economy passengers. First class and business class passengers may have between 29.9 and 39.9 Kilogram, depending on their route.

Asiana Airlines allows duty-free items on board, as long as they are packed in tamper-proof clear bags, with the receipt displayed.

Special Items

Large items like sports equipment and musical instruments can be transported for an additional fee that includes insuring the item for up to £1,625.

The International Civil Aviation Organization imposes the same limits for carry-on liquids all over the world. The liquids carried inside the cabin must fit in a one-quart plastic bag and be stored in quantities of 85.1gr or less.
