MyGIG, available on Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler vehicles is a complete entertainment system that includes such features as satellite radio, GPS navigation and a hard drive that can store thousands of music files and more. It has been available since 2006 as an option for many 2007-model-year Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler vehicles.

Hard Drive

A MyGIG system includes a 20-gigabyte hard drive when it does not have the navigation system and a 30-gig hard drive when it does. The internal hard drive is able to store pictures, MP3 files, WMA files and contact information.

Satellite Features

The MyGIG system has a Sirius Satellite radio as well as a GPS navigation system that not only tells you directions, shows you maps and automatically re-routes when you miss a turn but also gives you real-time traffic reports.

Other Entertainment Features

The MyGIG system includes a CD player, a DVD player, an AM/FM radio, an auxiliary input to plug in an external MP3 player, and a USB slot to insert a flash drive or other type of USB device to place media onto the hard drive of the MyGIG system. Other features include a voice recognition function as well as the optional UConnect system, which allows a driver to make hands-free phone calls.
