The Aspire 5315-2290, which is no longer manufactured, is a 15.4-inch notebook from Acer. Common features included a 56 KBps fax/modem, a touchpad, an integrated camera, a network adaptor, a CD/DVD drive and USB 2.0 ports.

Processor, Graphics and Display

The Aspire 5315-2290 has an Intel Celeron 550 2 GHz processor with a 1 MB cache size. The display is a glossy LCD 15.4-inch screen that supports 24-bit resolutions up to 1280 x 800.

This notebook uses the Intel X3100 graphics chip, which supports DirectX 10.0.

Memory, Storage and Battery Life

According to Acer, the six-cell Lithium ion battery will last approximately two hours. The 5315-2290 came with a 120 GB hard drive and typically 1 GB of DDR2 SDRAM. The notebook supports up to 2 GB of RAM through its two RAM slots. Additionally, it includes Express Card 34 and 54 ports.
