A5 paper is 5.83 by 8.27 inches. It is also a European-sized paper that was created by the ISO.

Types

Both A4 and A5 papers are made for inkjet, laser and colour printers. Both come in bond, matt, parchment, soft gloss, gloss and high-gloss types.

Weight

A4 paper is produced in 24-pound weight sheets up to 58-pound weight. A5 paper is also produced in 24-pound to 58-pound weight.
