Pine-Sol cleaning solution is a multipurpose cleaner and disinfectant for general household use. Popular as a floor cleaner and disinfectant, Pine-Sol is also used to brighten laundry and clean hard surfaces, and it is known for it's fresh pine scent.

Pine-Sol cleaning solution was invented in 1929 by Harry Cole, a chemist living in the southern pine forests near Jackson, Mississippi. He saw a ready market for the locally produced pine oil due to its excellent cleaning properties.

Pine-Sol is 15 per cent pine oil, a natural cleaner and disinfectant. Pine oil is also an effective oil and grease remover, and it will not harm septic systems, with recommended usage.

Pine-Sol is an EPA-registered disinfectant when used full strength. On nonporous hard surfaces, it kills common household bacteria and dissolves grease.

Pine-Sol cleaner is available in the original pine scent as well as a line of scented varieties such as Lemon Fresh and Mountain Energy.

Do not use on waxed, unsealed or worn flooring, and do not allow to sit or puddle on wood surfaces.
