Influenza Type A Symptoms

Most cases of the flu are Type C influenza, which is essentially a stronger version of the common cold. Type A influenza, on the other hand, can be much more dangerous and has been responsible for the deaths of millions of people throughout history. Type A's symptoms (as defined by the CDC and AMA), which are very similar to that of Type C influenza, can be treated with an annual vaccine from your doctor.

  7. Patients with Type A influenza will often feel exhausted and extremely weak, unable to complete even the most basic physical tasks.
