Early Spring Blooms

While most of the country is busy digging themselves out from under the latest blizzard, the first signs of spring are starting to appear here in Los Angeles. During a Saturday filled with rain (our version of winter precipitation), I noticed the bloom above peeking through the rosemary bushes in our front garden.

By Sunday morning, not only had it stopped raining, but our little bloom had transformed into this beautiful rose.

A lovely reminder warmer days are just around the corner - despite Punxsutawney Phil's shadowy predictions. Even the bees were out enjoying the change in weather.
