PayPal is a website that helps you shop online while keeping your information safe. You can also keep money in your PayPal account to use for shopping or sending to other members. Usually the money is withdrawn from a bank account that is connected to the member's online account. But if you don't have a bank account you can load cash into your PayPal account using a Green Dot MoneyPak.

Instructions

Loading Money through the MoneyPak Website

  1. 1

Purchase your MoneyPak. A service fee of £3.20 will be charged and the least amount of money you can load is £13. MoneyPak is not available at all stores. The website lists stores that sell the card.

  2. 2

You must wait at least 60 minutes after your purchase to use the card. Then you can go to the MoneyPak website. Click on the "Add Funds To PayPal" link. When the PayPal login screen appears, type in your e-mail address and password. Make sure you have your card with you.

  3. 3

Scratch off the grey area on the back of the card to see your MoneyPak number. Type it in the appropriate space.

  4. 4

Answer the additional questions and indicate how much you want to add to your account. The system will take you to your PayPal account and show your new account balance.

Tips and warnings

  • Make sure to handle the MoneyPak as carefully as you would cash.
