About micro thongs

Some folks may blush at the thought of a thong, which is a small patch of material that covers the privates and loops around into a g-string up through the buttocks. Those that blush at a thong may downright faint at the thought of a micro throng, which sports an even smaller patch of material. While thongs can have a patch that is a few inches wide and long, the micro thong will often have one the size of a postage stamp. Some find them acceptable swimwear bottoms on beaches but even if they are not worn in public, micro thongs remain a popular item at strip clubs and in the privacy of the bedroom. There is no shortage of styles, colours and designs from which to chose, but they all should be worn wisely.

Some micro thongs will stick with the basic triangular shape in front connect with two straps around the tips, while others will vary. Micro thongs can have asymmetrical straps, double straps, adjustable straps or have a rectangular rather than triangular front. Different fabrics are another choice. Some will be solid and opaque, manufactured from silk, cotton, satin, nylon or other synthetic materials. Others will be made of sheer tulle, lace or even beaded lace with a see-through quality. Still others can be made of mesh. Some are made of leather.

As small as they are, a variety of different features are available with that tiny scrap of fabric. Some have adjustable straps for the most form fitting adjustments around the hips. Others will have tie straps, like a string bikini, while still others will have a set length, usually made of elastic. Some micro thongs offer embellishments, such as crystals, fringe or feathers. The fabric can be a solid colour or come with a design or wording, as long as the letters, of course, are very small. One more option is having a metal embellishment, such as a heart, skull or circle, where the front patch would be or at the top back of the g-string. `

Anyone bored with knitting or crocheting scarves and mittens can easily hook up a micro thong. Crocheted thongs are incredibly simple to make for those who know the craft and do not take up a lot of supplies at all. A small triangular or rectangular shape can be fashioned with a lip that connects around the top front of the waistband. The waistband itself is made from long strings left at the bottom of the triangular shape that fit beneath the groin area and branch out at the back above the buttocks, coming back together at the front of the waist. These handmade items surely make for some incredibly unique gifts, as long as the gift give knows the receiver very well.

Micro thongs are not only for women. A few styles are available for men to wear, again leaving nothing to the imagination. Men can choose from a teardrop style, with the front in the shape of a tear drop, which adds necessary extra room. Men's micro thongs steer clear of lace, hearts and other feminine features and are often made of leather, suede or nylon. Some have studs or fringe.

As sexy and alluring as a micro thong may be, the item can be quite uncomfortable. Since the front is so teeny, it can easily ride up or shift out of place. They can also pose a health risk since they are invading vulnerable territory and do not provide protection. The healthiest way to wear a micro thong is in small doses, washing after every use. As the items are quite fragile, hand washing in cold water and a gentle detergent is the best way to go, followed by air drying. Never put a micro thong in the washer or dryer or you will have a shredded and misshapen micro thong.
