How to make vampire teeth caps

Updated February 21, 2017

Vampires are all the rage, thanks in part to the "Twilight" novels based on teenage vampires. If you're dressing up as a vampire for a fancy dress party or Halloween, you could easily buy a pair of fake vampire teeth at a costume shop. However, if you want something a bit more original and natural looking, create your own fangs. Using a pair of acrylic nails, you can make vampire fang caps for your teeth. You can even use red nail polish to make them look like they're covered in fresh blood.

File the tips of the acrylic nails into a point with a nail file. You can also use scissors to cut the nails into a fang shape.

Clean the nails in warm water and allow them to dry.

Paint the nails with white nail polish and allow them to dry completely. If desired, add red nail polish to the lower part of the fangs to make them look bloody. Allow the polish to dry completely.

Use denture glue to stick the nails to your canines. Hold each "fang" against the tooth for a few minutes to allow the glue to set.
